The opposition Peoples Party (PP) will now go into the rebuilding
process after it was booted out of government during the May 20
Tripartite Elections.
In an interview with Nyasa Time after the second Budget meeting of the
45th session of parliament, PP leader in the August house Uladi Mussa
said the party interns to take stock on what went wrong and what
should be done to be successful during the next election, in 2019.
"We will also go back to our supporters in all the districts
explaining to them the stand of the party after the elections.
"A lot of people are saying different things but as a party we need to
tell them what we know best, what the party intends to do during these
five years and our strategy for the next elections," he said.
Although it managed to restore the donor confidence during two years
it was in government, PP's image was tainted with that massive looting
of funds at capital hill also commonly known as Cashgate.
