FDH Bank donates computers and printers to Chichiri Prisonm


FDH Bank donated four computers and two printers worth K4.3million.  to Chichiri Prison to facilitate exams at the prison.


FDH Bank Head of Marketing Levie Nkunika said they decided to make the donation because it was found that some prisoners have been conducting studies but have had challenges during exams because the prison had limited equipment

Malawi in Negotiations for new typhoid vaccine

Malawi is currently in negotiations for newly licensed and World Health Organizations (WHO) prequalified typhoid conjugate vaccines (TCVs) with Typbar-TCV which has longer lasting protection, fewer doses, and suitability for children under two years of age.

Simbi Phiri builds a multimillion-modern primary school in Lilongwe rural

In a gesture of remembering his roots, Khato Civils owner, Simbi Phiri has constructed and furnished a primary school in his home village of Chembe, T/A Mazengera in Lilongwe Rural East.

According to Nyasa  Times, Simbi was born and grew up in Chembe before he left for Botswana as a young boy with his father.
The new facility which will be a junior primary school (Classes 1 to 5) will serve other villages within a radius of 15 kilometres.

CLEARANCE FOR CHANGE OF MOTOR VEHICLE OWNERSHIP




The Anti-Corruption has been vetting all applications regarding change of motor
vehicle ownership after the discovery of the plunder of public resources which came
to be known as cash gate at the end of 2013. This was done to curb concealment of
proceeds of crime through change of ownership.

Ministry holds a night of prayer for Malawi calamities

Malawians individually.

Themed "A Year Without Shame," the Ministry's founder Prophetic Bishop Chimwemwe Chafumuka said Gos will bring answers deluring the overnight and Malawi will not be the same again.
The night of prayer for the nation will be held at Lilongwe Town Hall.
